At the end of August, I'll be at this year's WorldCon, the World Science Fiction Convention, which is being held in Anaheim, CA. If you're anywhere in California, but especially SoCal, this is the closest you'll be to a WorldCon for a good long time. Next year's host city is Montreal, and the year after is Brisbane. The full programming schedule is available now as are day passes.
If you'd like to attend, you can buy passes here: https://www.lacon.org/
The convention will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center and the adjacent Anaheim Hilton hotel, both very close to Disneyland. The last time WorldCon was held here was in 2006, during a lull in my science fiction & fantasy fandom and well before I became a published author, so I'm glad to have another chance at experiencing the con as a local.
I have a fairly light schedule, which you can see below. If you'd like to get any of my books autographed, find me on Sunday from 3-4pm in the signing area! I'll even have a few copies of MACHINEHOOD to give away.
Thursday, 4:30pm: Robots in Science Fiction: Who’s Writing What in Robotics? (Carmel, Hilton)
Sun, 3:00pm: Autographing (Signing Area)
Monday, 12:00pm: Non-Traditional Pronouns in SF and Fantasy (251 C)
